4:10 pm …In line at Aer Lingus ticket counter. I checked in on-line, but it wasn’t clear if we could just skip to the bag drop line. 2 hours+ until departure.

5:09 pm…ticket line wasn’t too bad. Security was a breeze! Getting some food before we board plane. I purchased “not the absolute cheapest but almost” fare. Not expecting much food on the plane.

What did we forget? Charles left behind his nice jacket, ankle braces, and leftover Euros from earlier trips. I forgot my sweater for the plane, water bottle

6:10 pm waiting to board. I have a new travel wallet from LL Bean. It’s pretty awesome…oh so many pockets! It takes me a while to figure where my passport or phone is.

6:40 and we are boarded! By the time this is published, we should be in the air. More to come tomorrow…we arrive in Shannon at 6 am local time.
