More about the whole day later; one place we visited deserves a full post of its own.

We took a “Hop On Hop Off” bus, getting off in Salt Hill. The description of the stop briefly mentioned the Circle of Life Garden, dedicated to organ donation. Cheryl suggested we take a walk through.

What a treasure! The Garden is tucked inside Quincentennial Park, a lovely Galway public park. The flowers and plantings were beautiful, and the monuments and statutes were thought provoking. All though it was a spur-of-the-moment visit, it was one of those finds that makes travel so interesting.
