Another short write up…very early start tomorrow, it’s off to the airport and home.

On our way out of Belfast, Patrick drove by the murals at the Peace Walls, allowing us some time to get up close. Again, I’m impressed with how the Irish people have worked at keeping the peace. Many of the murals reflect current conflicts in other parts of the world.

We are in Dublin for our final night. I did some quick shopping, then met the group for one final night of music, goodbyes, and promises to meet up at future Hamill events. I’ve repacked everything (I bought more postcards and magnets than I thought!) and am ready to go. It’s been a fantastic trip. I was a bit nervous before I left, because I’ve never traveled on my own for something like this before. I shouldn’t have worried—I made new friends and had a great time.
